We moved on to Pleasant Lake County Park just north of town. 10,000 acre lake in the desert. It does however have a little green since they have had rain the last 2 weekends. There are wild burros roaming the park. Took a day trip to the Agua Fria River National Wilderness area. About a mile hike into a beautiful canyon where the Agua Fria River runs through and over the boulders. Nice quiet relaxing place for lunch with the babbling water and abundant sunshine. Overnight we picked up some un-documented guests in the motorhome. Seems Henry, of Rocky Mountain National Park fame, has Phoenix relatives. We are talking field mouse Henry. Henry’s Phoenix relatives wandered into the Tootsie Pops. Bad move!
