The power lift and tilt has been ailing and finally gave out completely. Kent has to manually raise and position the motor and that is just too much work, so it’s at the marina as we ‘speak”. They are a bit laid back here. He dropped it off this morning thinking he’d get a least a quick look and a quote. Not exactly! What he got was, “Ok, park it here. We will call you in the next couple days to let you know what it will take to fix it.” Looks like we will have time to check out a couple of the wildlife preserves around here while we wait to wet a line in the lake. There are supposed to be quite a few migrating birds that use this rare wet spot in the desert on the way south…we shall see.
