It was great to share the day with Brian celebrating his 36^th.  We spent much of the day doing yard work…yeah, what a way to celebrate.  Still we had a fun day together and dinner of the B’day boy’s choosing: steak, baked potato and strawberry shortcake.  Brian, you can plan the dinner menu anytime.  It was delicious.  Thanks to Kent for manning the grill.  We tried some more fun wines: Cabernet from Canoe Ridge in Walla Walla Washington and a red blend La Herencia from Mc Pherson Cellars of Lubbock Texas.  Both very drinkable I would say…most of my drinking companions prefer the lighter wines.  Oh well, more for me!
