Just the two of us taking in some desert time at Joshua Tree National Park.  We roll in on a beautiful clear afternoon.  A leisurely stroll to a nearby palm oasis includes jackrabbits, a verdin busily building a nest, and the ever present desert dweller, phainopepla (P2).  We close out the day under a lovely star-studded dark sky.
