Capulin is a giant cinder cone volcano. Can still see the flow marks in the lava flows after thousands of years. Pretty cool. Down over 400 ft into the vent area of the cone and great views of the mountains on all sides of this huge valley; Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado and NM. Saw an elk herd out on the lower plains.
