Great City Park in Spearfish. Right by the National Historic Fish Hatchery…I fed the ducks…..25 cents for about a tablespoon of corn! All pretty cool. Learned about gold mining in Lead (that’s pronounced leed with a long “e” which makes a whole lot more sense than like led since they mine gold not lead). Anyway, on to Deadwood and the hilltop cemetery where Billy the Kid and Calamity Jane are buried. Just fun to feel like part of history.
