Nope, it’s not about birds. It is all about gliders.  Specifically, it is all about a fleet of gliders that carried troops and supplies behind enemy lines in WWII.  The museum was created to commemorate the 5000+ glider pilots and preserve a pretty amazing story of the short lived but mission critical military glider program.
