The weather is not exactly cooperating. Green flag for the evening Glowdeo (special shapes inflated, tethered but after dark so they glow like the dawn patrol) has been delayed 1 ½ hours because of ground level winds. It is still very windy but a dozen or so balloons begin to inflate. The giant shapes bob and fold back on themselves as they are buffeted by the wind. With so few on the field, they look even more gigantic. Right in front of us the butterfly fills and rises; what a beautiful sight. That was some very impressive handling by her pilot.
The show is short lived though as even the most intrepid of the pilots has to call it quits and settle their charge back to the ground.
Tonight we watch fireworks and laser show from the launch field and call it a day.
